Dog-friendly things to do in London this winter: walks, dog yoga, Santa Paws and more

Published on

Winter in London doesn't have to mean staying in with your dog. Here is what is listed on Pet Event for November 2026 to February 2027, grouped by type, with dates and places. Most events need a ticket, so book ahead.

Group walks

  • Walk With Pawla in Victoria Park, Sunday 1 November at 10am. Free. Meet at Bonner Gate on Sewardstone Road for a relaxed walk of 40 to 50 minutes. The organisers suggest Cambridge Heath station, a short walk from the gate.
  • The Paws & Sound evening on 28 November also starts with a group dog walk (see below).

Dog yoga and puppy yoga

  • Yoga With Pawla at Sol Centre, Archway, Sunday 8 November, 2.30pm to 4pm. A beginner-friendly class led by a yoga instructor, with your dog beside you throughout.
  • Chow Chow Puppy Yoga at Barefoot Yoga in Walworth, on Sunday 22 November at 12.30pm and 1.45pm, and Sunday 29 November at 12.30pm and 1.45pm. The puppies are provided, so this one is a treat for you rather than your own dog.

Christmas and Santa Paws

  • Santa Paws at Dobbies Woodcote Green, Wallington. Ten-minute grotto slots on 6, 13, 16, 20 and 22 December. Your dog meets Santa and gets a gift and a professional photo, in aid of Dogs Trust. One ticket covers one dog and up to two adults.
  • Santa Paws at Charlton House, Charlton, Friday 11 December. Dogs meet Father Christmas in his grotto, have their photo taken and get a small treat.
  • Santa Paws at Capel Manor Gardens, Enfield, Saturday 19 December, 10am to 4pm. A Christmas day out in the winter gardens, with Santa Paws in the Manor House grotto and a dog agility course.

Socials, photos and a sound bath

  • Paws & Pours, a wine tasting for dog lovers at Humble Grape Islington, Saturday 7 November at 2pm, with treats for dogs.
  • Pop-up Dog Photoshoot in Canary Wharf, Saturday 21 November. A booked studio shoot for your dog with Woof Photography at Vertus Edit.
  • Paws & Sound at St Philip's Church, Earl's Court, Saturday 28 November, 7pm to 9pm. It starts with a relaxed group dog walk, followed by a sound bath with crystal singing bowls while your dog settles wherever it likes. Bring your dog's blanket or bed. You can come without a dog too.

Dog-friendly cinema screenings

Picturehouse runs dog-friendly film showings, and in London they are at its Crouch End and West Norwood cinemas. Check the listing for upcoming films and dates.

Tower Bridge

Tower Bridge welcomes well-behaved dogs in its Towers, high-level walkways and glass floors, and Victorian Engine Rooms. Dogs must stay on a lead held by their owner, keep off the benches, and take the stairs if their owner can. Assistance dogs can always use the lift.

January and February

London events for the new year are still being announced. We add new events every week, so check dog-friendly events in London for the latest.

Before you go

  • Book ahead. Santa Paws visits run in short time slots.
  • Read the organiser's rules. Some ask for dogs on leads, or one ticket per dog.

Details can change, so always check with the organiser before you go. For the festive season across the UK, see our guide to Christmas dog events in the UK 2026.
